A musical, Cotton Patch Gospel starts off with a raucous "Something's Brewing in Gainesville" in rural Georgia and takes us on a journey of comedy, redemption, bluegrass music and delicious harmonies. The students and community in our pre-professional productions serve to entertain and educate. Both the general public and schools from our 14-county service area visit Gordon to experience our beautiful campus and Gordon State College Theatre at Fine Arts Auditorium. Based on the Gospel of Matthew, Cotton Patch Gospel is directed by Lisa Cesnik Ferguson, and designed by Tony Pearson. Amanda E. West is the costume designer and Lauren Pitts is the music director.
